Since I wrote the introduction below, we have started Virtual Tours for authors, which has received glowing recommendations. See at:

Our stats as of 7/1/12 is over 10,500 views. We offer ads for the magazine. We dropped our prices on ad rates for the website, since our emphasis is now tours
and the eMag.This is romance author, Myra Nour. Many of you know me or my name. The evolution of Book & Trailer Showcase (BTS) started when my daughter Christy and I were working on a trailer. Christy was doing an amazing job and I knew it was going to be an awesome book trailer. “Wanted: Handsome Alien Abductor” trailer – coming soon.
We both realized there was no place to really showcase this trailer. Sure, there was YouTube and Daily Motion. They are nice, but not what we had in mind. I like going to a website for readers to check out book covers and decide if there is anything I want to read.
Book trailers need a special place where readers can look at many trailers without searching and getting frustrated. Authors need a site to showcase their wonderful book trailers. We authors pay a lot of money to get a trailer made. Some authors are talented enough to create their own, thus sacrificing their valuable time.
My family started brainstorming and we came up with Book & Trailer Showcase. We wanted to create a place that is fun and easy to navigate. A showcase for authors’ trailers that is very reasonably priced and also offer many other benefits. A site where readers could watch many different trailers in one sitting.
Ultimately we want to be the showcase for book trailers. Our goals include increasing authors’ sales. This is not something we can promise, but do hope to accomplish. People love watching trailers to see if they are interested in a particular movie. Why can’t book trailers do the same for books?
I’ve had readers tell me they love book trailers and they do help them in making a decision about buying a book. I’ve read an article where the writer didn’t see trailers as very effective promo. I think that may be true as it stands now. But, if the staff, authors and publishers can create an environment where book trailers shine, perhaps that will change.
While developing the site we realized there will be authors who do not have trailers or may want to promote just their books. So we created Book Presentation to showcase book covers. Also, we came up with Novel Exposure, which will include the 1st chapter or excerpt, blurb, and book cover. Please ramble around the BTS site and check out our many opportunities for promo.
We also wanted to provide “How To” information to the authors, such as “How to make a book trailer”. We will provide space for companies to advertise PR, marketing, those who create book trailers and any area that will be helpful to authors. We have advertised twice in Romantic Times and Ru Morgue to help build a large readership. Our success will be your success too. Therefore, we ask that you share our BTS site with your readers on newsletters, facebook, twitter and any other avenue you use to keep in touch with your fans.
